Uruguayan-born Federico Ricca is now a new Málaga CF player. From Dabubio FC, the left-back with an Italian passport signs as a ‘Malaguista’ until 2019/20.
Ricca, who on Monday underwent a medical at Clínicas Rincón-La Rosaleda, will join his new teammates in training on Tuesday for the first time. Later at 1 p.m., the young player from Uruguay will be officially presented in the Juan Cortés press room at La Rosaleda stadium.
Career | Achievements
The promising young left-back debuted in Uruguay’s First Division in 2013, having developed his career in the youth ranks in the only club where he’s played professionally, Danubio Fútbol Club.
As an international with Uruguay’s under-22s, he played and won the Pan American Games in Toronto (2015), and also achieved titles on a club level with Danubio: The Apertura Tournament in 2013 and the Uruguayan Championships in 2013/14.
