Uruguayan international striker, Diego Rolán is on loan to Málaga CF until the end of the current season, following the agreement between the Malaguistas and FC Girondins de Bordeaux.
Diego Rolán, born on 24th March 1993 in Montevideo (Uruguay), arrives at Málaga CF on loan, from French outfit, FC Girondins de Bordeaux. The forward, an international with Uruguay on more than 20 occasions, has taken part in 145 official matches with the French side since he landed in the 2012/13 season, and scored 37 goals.
Rolán was formed in the youth ranks of Defensor Sporting in Uruguay, with whom he came to debut in the top flight of his country in the 2011/12 campaign. He subsequently moved to Europe and signed to Girondins, winning the Coupe de France in 2013.
The Uruguayan player successfully passed the medical at Vithas Salud Rincón Medical Center Rosaleda, and will be presented today, Tuesday at 12:30 at the ‘Juan Cortés’ press room at La Rosaleda stadium.
