(Happy and focused)“I’m delighted to form part of this team, being in this city and at this Club. I will try to bring my best work and do as well as possible (…) It’s a difficult question to define, it’s better for the fans or coaches to answer. I will attempt to do my best in training sessions and also in matches.”
(Dream come true)“The Spanish League is the best in the world. I’ve been watching the matches since I was young, and I thought that maybe one day I would get to play there, now this dream is a reality. I hope I can play with Málaga for many years.”
(Juande Ramos)“I worked with Juande for a year and a half, he knows my level and I know his method of work. This is important for me, and will help with my adaptation during my time at Málaga. I’ve spoken to him, he said I need to work hard and show what I can do. Málaga have great goalkeepers, and now I’m joining them. I’m only focused on working hard, then we’ll see what happens.”
(Kameni, icon)“For me, Kameni is one of the best goalkeepers there is. Since I was little I had two idols, Santi Cañizares and Carlos Kameni, even though that may sound strange. I hope he helps me a lot, and I’ll try my best to help him, so we can both help the team. I would like to play, although there can only be one goalkeeper. Kameni is the perfect keeper, but I will also try and play.”
(Málaga)“I like the climate and the city, I think I’ll adapt easily. I need to be able to speak Spanish, and I hope to learn new words every day and start speaking quickly. It’s the perfect city for myself and my family, but I am only focused on football.”
